Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI (1989) Rare non-sunroof example. Phase 1.5 model, 94,000 miles, MOT till February 2026, six previous owners. Restoring and maintaining this car to near-100% original specification has very much been a labour of love for myself and the previous (GTI enthusiast) owner. It's now complete, bar the Bilstein dampers, which gives it a stance approximately 10mm lower than standard. All the wheels are in mint condition and the recently refurbished spare is covered in a wheel bag for road protection. I rarely drive the car, covering only 2,000 miles since 2017. In my tenure it's lived under a car cover (included) in the garage. Now it's time for a new owner to enjoy pampering and hopefully put some miles on this iconic hot hatchback. The provenance of this car is evident with a full and complete folder of documents from new. The service book shows good history from the early owners and there are full receipts for recent works done. Notably at 89,000 miles the car had the following: New clutch, new cambelt, brake discs and pads all round, steering rack rebuild (it's a non-power steering Phase 1.5 205), gearbox rebuild including new bushes & 3/4 synchromesh and the rear beam was reconditioned. In my seven year ownership I have had the seats re-upholstered, using the original leather stitched to brand new cloth sourced from France. Glass-out, seals and plastics off, full body respray. Brand new mild-steel exhaust system (original spec). New fuel lines and fuel filter. New battery. New starter motor Refurbished spare wheel with new tyre. Reconditioned the airbox and fitted new OEM air intake hoses. New boot mat.
