1999 Toyota MR2 JDM GT Turbo coupe
A very rare opportunity to own a final year of production, genuine MK2 Revision 5, top spec. GT turbo with factory fitted LSD.

This MR2 was imported in late 2003 by MR2 Direct. It changed ownership 8 months later and remained with this owner for 21 years. Kept in original condition and has been used every year, being serviced and maintained every year without fail.
This MR2 has STACKS of history (too much to list), including the original import documentation. Below are some of the main maintenance items over the last few years;
- Glass-out respray in factory Super Red 2
- Cambelt kit, water pump, idlers replaced
- Radiator, thermostat & coolant flush
- Wheels refurbished
- Infinity custom SS exhaust
- All new brake discs shields, brake discs & pads
- All new Bilstein yellow shocks & springs + front lower arms
- Gearbox overhaul + New Exedy clutch + MT90 gear oil (Rogue Motorsport)
- Ignition coil, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor arm
- New intercooler hoses
- Oil + filter, fuel filter, spark plugs within the last 1000 miles
Lots of New OEM Toyota parts - gear knob, rear view mirror, scuttle panel, trim items, etc.
Recently MOT'd, with only 1 advisory for nsf drop link, which has since been replaced.
As you would expect this MR2 performs very well and the engine is very healthy. Always run on shell v power, and always warmed up fully before boosting. There is also a Clifford alarm / immobilizer with built in turbo-timer to cool the turbo properly after an enthusiastic drive.
A Revision 5 JDM turbo in the UK is a rare find, and a GT model with this ownership and condition is even rarer. Undoubtedly a collectors item which will only continue to appreciate in value.
Will be sold strictly on a first come, first served basis. I will not hold the car unless full payment is made ahead of collection.
Mileage will increase slightly due to being in daily use. Private reg currently being transferred, will return to it's original S registration.
