This has been my hobby car for several years now, but unfortunately due to my getting older and a bit more rickety, I now struggle to get in and out of her, so it is with great sadness I am saying goodbye. Very low mileage for the year, hence the engine runs sweet and pulls strongly. No turbo's, vanos or other electronic tinkering to contend with, so really reliable. Although she is a pre-facelift model, I have upgraded the lights to the newer facelift angel eyes using genuine BMW parts and proper wiring adaptors for the angel eyes rather than aftermarket units that have to hack into the wiring loom. Because of the year, the road tax is fixed, and I have found insurance very reasonable given the size of the engine. It has all the extras inside, power seats/steering column/wing mirrors that are all attached to a 3 way memory system (very useful when the wife moves stuff around and doesn't put it back). Electric tilt/slide sunroof, heated front seats, 6 CD multi changer and cassette/radio with remote control, cruise control, original first aid kit under the passenger seat, auto tilting passenger mirror for parking, cup holders, glovebox torch and full leather. I don't have any service history for her, but during my time owning her, she has wanted for nothing. I've never had to top up the oil or water between services, and any little jobs have always been attended to. Obviously at this age, she is not going to be absolutely perfect, but overall the condition is comparable to much younger modern cars. A new mot has just been issued, and new discs and pads have been fitted to the front of the car. Any questions are more than welcome Collection is from Stoke on Trent, ST1
