1956 Land Rover Series 1. 86" This Series 1 is a lovely usable example that has benefited from a long term restoration completed by Land Rover devotee and enthusiast who owned it for over 20 years. It has been stripped to a bare chassis prior to being refinished and reassembled. It is traditionally finished in Bronze Green with a Green interior and a Sand canvas hood. In 2009 due to the original engine being beyond repair the owner was fortunate enough to find a period correct 2.0 Litre engine still in it's crate which was then fitted into the Series 1. Since the new engine was fitted the Land Rover has only done 3258 Miles so still runs sweetly and drives very well.
