Owned by me ( and by my wife) for 20+ years, bought from the importers. Waxoiled at that time and maintained since. This one is really rust free. It has always been a second car and the result is it's done a bit over 56k miles ( odometer reads in km) in 33 years. It was clearly someone's baby in Japan and they put a full stainless exhaust system with 4 branch manifold and adjustable coil over suspension. A couple of years ago, I upgraded the hood to so called mohair with a heated rear window. Also I fitted a new upgrade clutch( slipping due to a failed crankshaft oil seal), including both master and slave cylinders, cam belt, water and oil pumps. The suspension was getting very harsh and so this year I've fitted new adjustable suspension all round, currently set to stock ride height and road going rebound - both easily adjusted to suit a different driving experience. The brakes were working fine but looking a bit second hand so it has had new discs and pads all round and two new calipers at the rear. The gauges have had the dial faces replaced as the old speedo one was a cheapie fitted by the importers and had become so discoloured as to being difficult for an old phart like me to read. In short, this is a very straight example, getting a little difficult for me to get in and out of and I have too many cars. Ruby Red as she's affectionately known is 100% ready for summer - I'm completely confident she's going to fly through the MOT in July, if you want reassurance I'll get a new Test.
