Description

Looking for an affordable summer sports car? Look no further than this 2007 Mazda MX-5 Mk3 (NC) Sport! After 4 great years in my ownership, the time has come to reluctantly sell my MX-5. This car has spent most of its life as a daily driver and is a higher mileage example, currently sitting at 159,771 miles (though this will continue to increase slightly as it is still my daily). Despite its high mileage, this car has been loved its entire life. It has a full service history from 12 miles on the odometer, and it has been well maintained by both myself and all previous owners. It has received oil/filter changes every year, and it has had all its fluids changed or flushed regularly (brake/power steering/coolant/etc). All plugs and filters were done at manufacturer intervals. It has also had its differential and gearbox oils changed. Its last full service was at 157,442mi Below is a quick summary of this well-loved Mk3 MX-5: Good: The car is solid underneath (which is a known issue for MX-5s). There is no visible rust on the arches and any rust on the underside is cosmetic. For an 18-year-old MX-5, this is not that common. Any rust issues have been immediately addressed. The car is a factory 'Sport' trim with the BOSE audio system, which means it benefitted from Bilstein suspension and a Limited Slip Differential (LSD). The car also comes with heated seats, which is nice on cold winter mornings. The car has its original roof, which is 100% watertight. It has been waterproofed twice a year throughout my entire ownership. Few 18-year old MX5s have their original roof. In addition to this, it also has a few tasteful upgrades which improve the overall experience, such as: -IL Motorsport stainless steel aftermarket back-box (it sounds deep and burbly, without being too loud) -Stainless steel braided brake lines front and rear -Sony double-DIN head unit capable of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay As with any 18-year-old car, there are some imperfections which should be mentioned: -The paint and bodywork are in decent condition, but bear the scars of 18 years of daily driving (including a couple of years living in London). There are some minor scratches, dents, and dings -The roof: The previous owner parked the car under a tree and the roof has a bit of algae on it, which I've been unable to shift -The wheels could benefit from being refurbished. Despite the high mileage, this car has plenty of life left in it. I'm asking for 3,250 or any reasonable offers
