A recently fully restored stunning 1979 Mini clubman estate. The restoration has been documented and included lots of new metal including new floors, front & rear, inner arches, door skins, inner & outer sills, rear valance, wings, A panels, front valance, scuttle and then a turbo box added. The underneath and internal floor was then raptored and the beautiful Mercedes shade of Elbait green was applied along with the contrasting black painted viper style stripes. 13 x 7 inch Revolution alloys in contrasting black & silver covered by black group 6 arches and black door circles just look great. Lots of carbon bits have been added, including the front and rear bumpers also painted in contrasting black, the custom bonnet and A panel scoops, everything else has been given the black treatment. Spot the upgraded Jeep Wrangler LED head lights and custom name badging. Limo tinted rear windows add to the overall look.
Internally you step into a wonderful place. Upgraded black reclining Cobra sport seats and all original rear seats, door cards and brand new black carpets are perfect. A full black head lining has been added along with rear seat belts. Alloy door furniture, custom gear knob and leather & green clad steering wheel finish it perfectly. Cooper 3 clock dials house the speedo, revs, fuel and temp gauges and the custom top body matched rail houses 3 more dials, oil pressure, turbo boost & battery amps plus a USB charging point. Wolf has all the mod cons and this includes the 7 inch display screen (I do have another housing on order for this), Apple car play and reversing camera (yes you read that correctly) are some of its features. A heated front screen is another nice addition. Spot the custom named floor mats.
Under the bonnet he continues to shine, a newly built and very nicely upgraded 1340cc Metro turbo engine takes care of all your power needs. The spec includes +40 forged Omega pistons, all new big end and main bearings, Duplex timing chain, central oil pick up pipe, a rebuilt Turbo Technics turbo, reground crank, oil cooler and extra electric cooling fan on an internal switch. A completely rebuilt gear box with the addition of a cross pin diff and a longer ration 4th gear for motorway driving of course a new clutch too. Having done just 1428 miles since completion it's perfect, he's just had a fresh service. He's booked in for a rolling road set up in a few days and I'm expecting so
