Hi, thinking of letting my xj40 sovereign go. It is a pretty solid car underneath. The wheel arches & sills need attention. There is a hole in the passenger side foot well. This is not caused by rust but by an incompetent tyre fitter who jacked car up on floor pan & not the jacking point. Has been straightened out but will need attention. Car is generally good condition. The interior is very clean. New radio & electric aerial fitted along with new brakes around. Engine is very strong & still cruises at 70 mph. Fuel tank has been professionally welded & cleaned. Comes with double 5 wheels. . There are other bits that need doing as with all classic cars. Heater needs attention. Nearside headlight chrome is fading. I have numerous parts for car as it was an ongoing restoration. But time is limited & I cannot see myself giving it the tlc it requires. Too good to throw away looking for around 2k or a sensible offer . Ps will let all parts I have for car go if full asking price is agreed
