2014 Abarth 595 Competizione Cabriolet The Abarth 595 in any form is a wonderful little four seat sports car. But the 'Competizione' version takes things to a whole new level thanks to more horsepower, ventilated disc brakes, the famous 'Record Monza' exhaust, and a whole host of weight saving measures that make this car feel very special. Top of that list are the SABELT race style bucket seats, which are trimmed in Alcantara and Racetex. They are extremely comfortable and allow more legroom in the back than the standard sports seats thanks to their slim profile. The pedals and gear lever are Abarth aluminium versions, the sill plates are in carbon fibre with the 'Competizione' script, and the exterior door handles and trim are finished in a lightweight matt black, saving weight over the standard chrome. The glovebox lid is even deleted, the Competizione featuring a deep open shelf (with a secret lidded compartment for valuables). The condition is lovely, the interior is crisp with no major wear and the exterior paint work is bright thanks to a recent polish. The car runs and drives superbly and that Abarth Ferrari Tributo derived engine and exhaust is absolutely raucous. The car features premium and factory correct Pirelli P-Zero tyres all round, has just been subject to an interim service and has 12 months MOT. The car has clearly been well taken care of, and this is reflected by a full service history and file of servicing receipts. For many years the car has been looked after by Abarth specialists R.
