Description
This is a rare manual version. It incorporates a naturally aspirated Ferrari 4.2 litre V8 engine. I have had this car for over 6 years with no issues except requiring a replacement key and repairing the oil gauge sender in the engine. It is equally comfortable to drive in town centres as it is on country roads and motorways. On acceleration it provides you with the beautiful V8 roar from the Ferrari V8 engine.
This is a beautiful car. In particular, the car has a leather interior throughout, the leather seats do not so much surround you, as gives you a big hug! The leather is in very good condition throughout. In addition, it has the heritage pack, which includes the Maserati trident on both sides of the car behind the rear windows. Unlike many cars of this type, it is a true 4-seater, comfortably seating 2 adults in the rear seats.
I have the complete service records of this car. Since I have owned the car (2018), it has been serviced annually. All records are available.
This car is a real pleasure to drive. .or you can just lift the bonnet and ogle at the gorgeous engine styling.
Ferrari took full control of Maserati in 1999 providing Maserati with a huge injection of cash, but also a hefty boost to their build quality. The Maserati 4200 coupe was one of the early models benefitting from this Ferrari input. It was manufactured in Moderna, Italy and utilizes the F136 R V8 engine developed by Ferrari, a 4.2 litre naturally aspirated V8 engine producing 385 bhp and an acceleration of 0-60 in 4.7seconds.
