Mercedes CLK 280 Convertible - 12 months MOT - no advisories! Please read carefully! Drives brilliantly, V6 engine still pulls like a train. Had a lot of work done to it by previous owner - sailed through MOT without missing a beat - however, selling as a coupe! I bought this car last year from local youtuber 'geoffbuyscars' Link here to when he bought it for a customer: I bought as a project knowing that the roof did not work. I have tinkered around with the car: new battery, tyres, and just done an oil and filter change etc (Sunday 4th). I have also done a bit around the roof: new fuses/breakers/fluid etc., and have identified a leak in the hydraulics in the rear nearside. However, the car has spent most of the winter under a cover, as I simply have not had the time to put into fixing properly, due to extensive work/travel commitments. I am sure roof is fixable and lots out there as to how to fix a W209. However, I simply don't have the time to put into it. I have considered holding on to it and using as a winter hack - however, I don't want it sat round doing nothing for the next 6 months. It is an 18 year old car and some switches are a bit flimsy etc, some scratches etc., etc., however, I think it would make a great run around as a coupe for someone. I am not looking to make anything on this, just recouple what I have paid out over the past 6 months, including the purchase price. Do drop me a line to chat further.
