Purchased in Sept 1985 in good running order. Restoration started later that year and remains incomplete. Stored in dry barn for 40 years. Selling as a complete car only, sorry i do not want to sell individual parts. Car is stripped down, lower half sandblasted and painted in red oxide paint. Floor pans, sills, doors and boot lid repaired. Bonnet stripped and undercoated. New rear wings. Engine complete and re-assembled. Engine Re-bored at D.A.Ford in Belper Derbyshire. New pistons, big ends, Thrust washers. Cylinder head gas flowed and vales lapped. Carbs overhauled with new needles and jets. MK4 seats. Wire wheel shot blasted an painted white. New tyres fitted 40 years ago! Hard top needs some welding on the bottom edge. Please note: Engine pallet and wheel dolly not included in sale. Sorry, no delivery available.
