Description
So nice had this car for a number of years. It's an absolutely amazing example of the classic
vR6. Its engine sounds perfect. Chains not been changed but has no rattles and sounds beautiful. The gearbox is perfectly in sync. Tight car. Perfect ride. It's completely original. Does have new chocks, brakes , discs. Been serviced regularly by a local mechanic who's also an enthusiast. Three in excellent condition. Battery has still 1 year warranty left on it. It was from Halford's.
Leather interior. In great condition. There's no rust on the car. Undersurfece also in excellent condition.
I've done a few things that always annoy Corrado owners. The driver side door handle mechanism broke. Not the metal lever within but the rocker. So I refurbished this from a good quality second hand handle. The wiper arms I've changed to the mk1 Audi arms - work absolutely perfectly.
ABS light goes off like it's meant to. So no MOT issues there. The healthier you'll see is perfect as it's brand new.
It's one on the lowest mileage cars in UK.
So why have I priced iir to sell - the sunroof is an issue - which is a real pity as I refurbished it completely. I bought new track holders which can be purchased at 250 a pair - someone on the Facebook forum makes these. - I put it all back together again and it's not working properly. I think I've not got the tracks quite synchronised. Which is a real pity as I spent a lot of time and money getting this correct. So someone will need to open this op and get it adjusted. But I assure all the ports have been refurbished and the sunroof motor works perfectly. When I was refurbishing the sunroof I made sure the water channels had been cleared etc to allow rainwater to drain off properly.
The paintwork has been corrected to a certain extreme. Of course it's not concourse but I doubt anyone will be taking it to the body shop any time soon. Washed and polished it's a head turner. MOT til 19ty July.
I don't want any silly offers please. It prices to sell. I have many classic cars and I need to sell a few.
