I have owned the Capri for 4 years now and it's been a pleasure to drive. This Capri being the Special benefits from a five speed gearbox, limited slip diff and half leather Recaro interior.It is in a very good condition with no Dents or dings and has not been messed about with.The Capri has been well looked after being garaged all the time and any mechanical work carried out by my local garage. Work carried out includes diff oil changed,gearbox refurbished in Nottingham, oil and filter changed, air filter changed, new plugs, leads, distributor cap, rotor arm and coil changed. I had the radiator taken out and refurbished/re-cored at Coolex in Nottingham and they fitted the correct brackets to mount an electronic fan along with the controller supplied by Revotec.Whilst fitting the radiator back I also changed the top and bottom hoses, fitted a new thermostat and housing supplied by Tickover. Fuel filter under the bonnet changed recently along with an exchange alternator. New tail gate struts have also been fitted supplied by Caprigear.As you can see from above no expense has been spared whilst in my ownership. A couple of things that I have not got round to is the electric aerial does not work but the original Ford radio does and the heater blower has not been working since I purchased the car. The Capri has only been used at the weekends and only in dry weather and always garaged. After this year the car will be 40 years old so it will be exempt from road tax as it will be a historic vehicle and will not require an mot.
