Description

Up for sale is my lovely well looked after Seat Leon FR which I'm reluctantly selling as I've recently bought a larger car to suit our family needs. I bought the car in August 2014 with 67,000 miles on the clock and it's done me incredibly well over the years with no major issues. It drives superbly. Smooth and nimble but the performance and handling is there when you want it. Key highlights: - It's been regularly serviced in accordance with the servicing plan and 11 of the 15 stamps in the service book are from SEAT main dealers. - Fresh MOT valid until 8 May 2026. - Full paperwork from all services since new and all MOTs since 2014. - Continental Premium Contact 6 tyres all round and plenty of tread left (5mm NSF, 6mm OSF, 6mm NSR, 7mm OSR). - Two keys. - Air conditioning was re-gassed last summer and is working great. - New battery purchased in 2022 with 5/year guarantee until September 2027. - New sealant kit purchased last year as the previous one had expired. - The rear door locking mechanisms have both been replaced, one in 2020 and one in 2023. Unfortunately this is a fairly common issue with this Leon and the paddle style door handles however now that they've been replaced they shouldn't need it again. - Philips Ultinon Access LED headlight bulbs. - Since I took the photos I've replaced the wheel nut covers with new matte black ones as the old ones had seen better days. - ULEZ compliant. - 97,052 miles on the clock at the time of writing. Usual minor wear and tear that you'd expect for a vehicle of this age, particularly the wheels, but as I do such low mileage (typically under 3,000 a year) I'm really pleased with the condition I've been able to keep it in. Definitely helped that since 2018 it's been kept in an underground car park overnight and out of the elements. From a cosmetic point of view, I would like to highlight that there's two small (1cm) marks from car doors being opened on me, some small stone chips just above the front bumper and there's a patch approximately 8cm to the right of the front grille where the top paint layer has deteriorated. I haven't explored getting any of these looked at as it's never bothered me too much but nonetheless, I wanted to highlight this and I've factored it into the price. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm based in Putney in southwest London. Payment by bank transfer only.
