Every couple of years I find a low mileage car with full service history and low owners and I then restore back to original showroom condition or enhance to something unique . I have previously restored classic fords and more recently BMW Minis with no expense spared and just done with a labour of love to enjoy then move on. I brought Grace 5 years ago to which she only had 1 previous owner for 14 years , the then current owner had a new roof fitted from BMW including window motors totalling 3.5k. At that point she had covered only 39.5k miles! It was totally standard including Black Dakota leather , 17" alloy wheels , standard in every way. The owner was only selling as he wasn't using it and it had been stood still for long periods of time. It was originally purchased at Cotswold BMW in Hereford and remained local till I purchased her. I was told it has never been used in winter and the original lady owner kept it garaged, he knew her and knew the history that's why he bought it. He never used it either in winter and neither have I. This is remarkable considering the car is 22 years old and the condition underneath and especially under the bonnet shows as there is no oxidisation on any bolts or parts ,it literally is like new you could eat your dinner off it! 10k receipts from BMW , plus new Tan nappa quilted interior, new bilstein suspension all round . All wishbones, drop links bushes brake pipes brembo discs and pads,hoses have all been replaced along with all door and window rubbers and boot dampers. It has a GT type full leather M steering wheel and new gear knob and carpet overmats. It has had recently a brand new starter motor and battery along with radiator and air conditioning unit. I have literally replaced old for new everywhere. It has been detailed everywhere and is exemplary all round. Every part is genuine BMW, apart from the wheels as finding an original set of CSL wheels are rare. Michelin sport 4 tyres all round. I am simply not using it sadly,hence sale
