Description

Saab PB07AAB Saab Vector convertible with Sport body kit. Dual fuel, Petrol & Lpg. Automatic. Heated leather front seats. Kenwood DAB stereo system. Wind shield. First Registered 01 03 2007 Number of previous keepers 4 (5 in total) I purchased this car five and a half years ago as both a fun car on sunny weekends and as an everyday car for shopping, visiting friends and clients. It has served me well, but alas I am no longer driving as much as I did and so regrettably the time has come to sell. It is capable of eating long distances in comfort as well as exploring country lanes with the roof down, smelling the air, hearing the birds, and feeling the sun on your arms. It is a great way to travel. For anybody new to SAAB convertibles I should warn you the back seats are for small people only. We have had 4 large adults in the car but only for a 30 minute journey, and then everybody was very pleased to get out. For two adults however it is a great tourer with plenty of space for two six footers and a wardrobe of baggage in the back. A few years ago we toured the North Coast 500 and it was excellent. The journey from Manchester to Inverness with the roof up was fast and comfortable. From then on the roof was down for 6 days as we drove on narrow coastal roads around to Fort William. This was in June and in Scotland June can be rather spiteful for the unprepared. Despite this, with the wind shield up and the heating full on, we were both snug in the cockpit while exposed to the elements. An added advantage of touring in this car is the LPG tank which gave us the extended range to reach Fort William before needing to stop for fuel. The car doesn't have a complete service record. Somewhere among the 4 previous owners the logbook and records became separated from the car. However I have kept meticulous records of all maintenance since I bought it in October 2018. All the servicing and repairs have been carried out by Saabtec who have proved excellent at sourcing original and approved parts for the car. The last service was only 3,500 miles ago in Nov 2023 but the car has been to them regularly since then for maintenance and inspection. In the last two years it has had new rear brakes, NGK laserline plugs, SPA sensor, Power Steering pipes and hoses, Exhaust and silencer, Ignition lock and ISM kit. That is over 2.2k of well spent money. Great car, good condition, lots of fun. Please contact me for more information.
