Description
This very special car is a pleasure to own, every 'start-up' brings a smile to my face when the 4.7 litre V8 barks into life. This Maserati is exactly the car I hoped it would be with tons of power, phenomenal sound, comfort, a sense of occasion every time you drive it and it looks utterly fantastic; a quick trip to Gleneagles will verify with lots of admiring glances (or maybe it's the engine noise??) There is no way I would be selling this car unless forced to but unfortunately that day has come. I genuinely have enjoyed every minute of ownership and have used the Maserati as my daily driver.
This car has been looked after by 'The Supercar Tech' in Edinburgh and benefitted from the BIG service last year with everything done, any preventative maintenance was also undertaken to make the sure the car is in excellent condition. (A full vehicle appraisal report can be made available from The Supercar Tech.) The underside of the car is as good as the top and has been treated with Lanogaurd to make sure it stays that way.
Michelin Pilot Road Sport 4's, laser 4 wheel alignment, recent discs and pads all round, excellent service history; there is nothing to be done to this car for the foreseeable future, it is 100% fighting fit. (Tracker fitted but not currently activated.)
Grigio Nuvolari paintwork, light metallic grey with hints of champagne (official description!), suits this car absolutely perfectly; the bodywork is exceptionally good and was ceramic coated a couple of years ago and now regularly smothered in polish. The colour combination works brilliantly giving the car a purposeful look, this is helped by 'bolt in' spacers which add to the aggressive stance of the car. (The spacers can be easily removed.)
This is the 'S' model and does not have the problematic gearbox, this car has the 6 speed with manual paddle shift; I much prefer this gearbox, it is quick to shift, no maintenance issues and totally reliable unlike the MC shift. The 'S" also gets the special button on the dash and once pressed the suspension instantly stiffens up and opens the exhaust valves at 3,000rpm; the car changes character completely. This car in 'Sport' mode with the driver's window cracked open a little and ripping towards 7,000rpm is just fantastic!
Granturismo watch and cufflinks included.
I'd love to keep the GTS but I can't, redundancy forces sale. (Highest offer secures)
