Description
We are selling our Mini which we've owned since 2019 due to having a baby and needing a more suitable car.
The bodywork is in excellent condition with only a few minor scratches, and the roof doesn't leak. The wheels are all in good condition with only a small amount of curb scratches as you'd expect with a car this age.
Mechanically sound and running well, the only small issue is a small oil leak picked up on the MOT.
The car has a service history between 2012 - 2019 plus a receipt of a service in 2022 & 2023.
In the last 18m or so we have replaced
* starter motor
* rocker cover gasket
* engine oil seal (rear of engine block top)
* boot electrical panel (tail light & boot release) as this is a common fault on these cars
I have also
* waterproof treated the roof with an Autoglym convertible roof kit
* restored the headlights to remove yellow dis-colouration
The only issues to note is the roof has a small abrasion on the driver side (but this is still waterproof), and the roof cable has come away from the mount which means when when the roof is half down the roof doesn't always fold evenly.
The roof does go fully up and down correctly and makes a waterproof seal when up - but when the roof is half open (as a sunroof) the fabric doesn't fold up evenly, and when the roof is folded away the roof fabric sometimes doesn't fold correctly and can drape over the boot slightly.
In addition to the roof the windscreen has a chip which you might want to repair, Halfords do this service quite inexpensively
