This Toyota Yaris Y Sport was purchased by me in June 2021. It was registered new on 5th June 2002 by Glade of Slough and sold the day after to a lady in Surrey. She kept the Yaris up until I bought it. My Yaris has only done 59000 miles with 16 services. It had a new clutch kit in 2020 at 49000 miles. In my ownership, I have had 4 new tyres, brake discs and pads all round, a new Yuasa battery, the air conditioning regassed, and a cat back, mid sport, hand made, stainless steel exhaust by MIJ in Walsall, which sounds just right. It is finished in arguably the best colour Thunder Grey, and for a car that is 23 years old, I think it is in excellent condition. It has an M.O.T until June 2026 with no advisories and has never had any issues with corrosion, and is suitably protected. I was a Toyota sales manager in the early noughties and this is the car I chose to drive. I will genuinely be sorry to see it go, because it is such an original and unspoiled example. It needs to go to another enthusiast, probably a bit younger than me who can continue to give it the love it deserves. I have always run it on premium fuel. The private plate does not come with the car. It will come with the original 02 registration.
