Introducing the Lotus 2-Eleven, upgraded to a GT4 specification. A purpose-built track car that embodies lightweight performance, precision handling, and pure driving engagement. This car was signed off from the production line on 14th January 2009 before being shipped to Japan. The car was destined for a life of racing, having been imported with 14 other cars to form a 2-Eleven Japanese race series. However, the car never got to race, and instead became a show car for use at motor shows. The car would then be purchased by a UK based collector, still as a delivery mileage example, who brought it back to the UK. The car was then transformed from its naturally-aspirated setup, with the installation of a Rotrex C30-94 supercharger and supporting upgrades including Pro-Alloy charge cooler, SC Delta ECU management, 750cc injectors, uprated fuel pump and uprated engine mounts. All installed by Datum Motorsport. A baffled sump was also installed. Soon after, an AIM MX2E digital dash would be installed alongside a regular service. These upgrades result in the car producing 320bhp and 210ft lb of torque. The driving experience of this 2-Eleven has been further improved with the installation of an exposed gear-shifter, as found in the later Exige S3 models, providing an excellent feel that compliments the drive of the car. A 2Bular exhaust manifold and GT3 silencer complete the overall package. A single piece tonneau cover panel covers what would be the passenger side, further reinforcing the cars motorsport purpose and visuals. Full specification of the car is available upon request. PPF is installed across the car, in the most prone areas, including the front end, side skirts and side panels, wheel arches and along the drivers side where entering the vehicle. Having covered just 2,750 miles since leaving the factory this low mileage, superbly presented 2-Eleven is ready for a new challenge. The car will be supplied with a fresh MOT, fresh service and 12-month comprehensive warranty.
