Good morning everyone. The time has come to sell my Volvo. RJ54 NTF 2005 163 SE. MOT until 31.08.25. 150500 miles. I bought this car as a runner to keep me going.I kept it for 4 years! In that time it's had 2 new cam belts. I was unsure that the first time it was changed, so it went to The Volvo Workshop in chesterfield for cambelt, water pump and all pulleys and bearings etc, also had a 20 year service and a thorough check over, this was done at 142000 and I have receipts for the work done. New Volvo discs n pads front and rear at 132000 New front wishbones 4 x Uniroyal rain sport 5 tyres Air con re gas New ignition ring antenna Gearbox oil changed at 1420000 I have receipts for all the work done in my ownership, and for the 2 previous owners. This car has never let me down. However in the past few weeks it developed a stutter! Driving along fine then, the dash lights come on, and off and it carries on as if nothings happened. I took it to David pendelbry Volvo specialist in Nottingham who cleared the codes ( cruise control) and it's been fine ever since. Don't see any reason why this car won't continue for another 100,000 miles with regular servicing as I have done. There's slight bubbling on one of the rear arch's and obviously a few marks here and there. It is 20 years old but still looks good when cleaned and polished, pulls well in all gears and has done 705 miles on a single tank to France and back. Adding to that, it continues to give me 550-630 miles on a tank, I am on the M1 a lot though, but I think that's brilliant for an old car.
