Description

For sale is my high-spec 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged in the very desirable Buckingham blue without dark tinted windows. Despite the mileage, this car has been well looked after with extensive preventative maintenance and is still in regular use. Key Details: MOT until 28/11/2025 Registered 14/03/2006 - just qualifies for lower road tax bracket: 430/year 4.2L Supercharged V8 - smooth and powerful General Grabber M+S tyres with excellent tread Audio Connectivity Module (ACM) Detachable Westfalia towbar Heated steering wheel, ice-cold air con, sat nav, Harmon/Kardon sound system Rear TV screens and DVD player - perfect for kids on long journeys Service & Upgrades: Supercharger rebuilt with solid coupling & 10% reduced pulley Belts, coolant hoses, viscous fan, radiators, and ancillaries replaced Refurbished gearbox ~Circa 10 years ago; valve block and solenoids recently done, plus firmware updated Proper rust repair to rear arches/sills - metal cut out and replaced properly Oil/Filter service in Dec 2024 Air suspension working perfectly and regularly used at various height settings. Standard Vogue grill and side vents fitted (I prefer the understated look). The original SC trim parts are included too. Known Issues: Timing chain rattle on left bank at idle - A full genuine Land Rover timing chain kit (all 4 chains/tensioners) costs around 800. Although not the smallest job, it is DIY-friendly for the competent home mechanic and there are plenty of guides on doing timing chains on the AJV8. (The car is still very much driveable but I would advise the new owner to get the chains done sooner rather than later) Paint on rear quarters is slightly duller post-arch repair - presentable but may benefit from polishing or respray. Rest of paintwork has scratches from narrow country lanes (it's a working vehicle). Gap in service history between 50k-117k, but maintained regularly since. Alloy wheels could do with a refurb. Tailgate has captive nuts from a previously fitted roof cage/ladder (bolts currently fitted). Final Notes: This is an honest L322 that's been well used but cared for properly. Jeremy Clarkson and Harry Metcalfe called these "the best cars in the world" - I agree. It's comfortable, capable, and still turns heads. I regularly drive a 400mile return trim and arrive feeling refreshed each time. Priced fairly based on mileage and timing chain job being due. Private plate will be removed - vehicle will return to reg FN06 XLD.
