Up for sale is my 2006 Jaguar XK 4.2 V8 in Quartz grey with black leather interior. I haven't owned the car long, but it's been an incredible experience. Easily one of the most enjoyable cars I've had the pleasure of driving. Unfortunately, I'm now in the process of buying a house and need to release some funds, which is the reason why I'm reluctantly having to let go of it. This car has been meticulously looked after, with a substantial amount of recent maintenance carried out. It currently has just under 138,000 miles on the clock and is still in light use. MOT is valid until November 2025 with no advisories. Comes with full service history and documentation of the recent work. It's had four owners in total. Mechanically, it's spot on. Within the past few thousand miles, the car has received a full service, along with a brand-new radiator, thermostat, water pump, and auxiliary belt. The gearbox was serviced less than 500 miles ago. I've also had all four wheels professionally acid-dipped and powder-coated, so they're in excellent condition. One of the most significant improvements is the bodyworkthe car has undergone a full respray to properly address the common aluminium corrosion and bubbling that these models are prone to. All affected areas were treated and finished to a high standard, not simply painted over. The result is a very clean and presentable exterior. It also features a custom stainless steel back-box delete, which sounds absolutely amazing. I still have the original rear muffler, which I'm happy to include with the car or refit at an agreed price, depending on buyer's preference. Inside, everything works as it should. Heated seats, sat-nav, cruise control, automatic headlights and wipers and dual-zone climate control all function properly with ice cold A/C blows hot and cold as expected. The interior is in good condition with a couple small marks of light wear. This XK has had thousands of pounds spent on it, and all the typical worries with cars of this age and model have already been addressed. I'll genuinely miss it, but it's time for someone else to enjoy it. Private plate will be put on retention at point of sale. Original registration is CV06 SCZ.
