With some reluctance, I am selling my beautiful Audi S4. For those in the know, this car needs no introduction, but for everyone else.... This 2004 B6 Audi S4 has covered just over 102000 miles, which is not much for a 20 year old future classic. Unlike similar models from the same year, this one benefits from a 344 BHP 4.2 Litre V8! Coupled to a manual gearbox with permanent 4 wheel drive, it is an absolute joy to drive. Some of you will have heard horror stories of timing chain problems and overheating ect, but don't worry. I have taken care of these issues. Since owning the car, I have done the following: Full timing chain, tensioner & chain guide replacement. New clutch and Dual mass flywheel. Oil return valves, gaskets and seals replaced as part of the timing chain replacement. Both auxiliary radiators replaced with genuine "Nissens" items as per OEM. Brand new headlining fitted direct from Audi Germany (Old one was sagging, which is common on older cars) Gearbox & rear diff oil change with Audi OEM spec fluids. Recent A/C system overhaul, inc New condenser, dryer, compressor & seals. With a full re-gas the system is now ICE COLD! In short, this vehicle has wanted for nothing. I have a huge wallet of receipts for all the things that have been done to the car during my ownership. I have made a couple of tasteful modifications that I feel add to the car, without ruining its appeal. Chiefly, I have removed the Pre-cats in the exhaust. (This not only helps the car breathe more easily, but reduces cylinder temps & gives the car a slightly more aggressive sound) The centre exhaust section is Milltek, but I have kept the original rear silencers, the end result is something that is still quiet and refined on the motorway, but has a little more growl when you want! The only other modifications are, colour coded alloys that match the Dolphin grey paint, and the RS4 inspired red rocker covers. I have owned the car for a little over 5 years and have serviced it myself during this time, I am sad to see it go, but circumstances have changed, and I can't justify keeping it any longer. I just don't use it enough. There is also a set of Thule roof bars complete with Audi transport bag, that I will include if the asking price is met. Thanks for looking.
