Description
Found this old girl in a barn when I went to buy a tractor from an old boy down the road (did not get the tractor)! Gave her the TLC she needed to get back on the road. Had to get the bodywork properly repaired, no filler. Also complete rear subframe overall including new inboard disks and calipers. I've enjoyed her for a few years as this was one of the wow cars when I was a boy but its time to move onto another car from my youth. She's is nice to drive and is so smooth on the open roads. The rear alloy wheels are renovated but the fronts need the same treatment although no damage just usual furring around valve. The paintwork has age related chips but only when you look closer. Carpets are original so looking there age. Inner roof lining could do with changing as well. The outer roof lining is in A1 condition and there is a cover for it when the roof is down. She is not the best example but defiantly not the worst which is reflected in the asking price. I keep her in a nice warm dry garage which as any old Jag owner knows is the best place for them to keep the corrosion away. I only have ever gone for a cruise in the dry weather with the roof down and the wind in my limited hair. I do not have any history on her apart from she was abandoned at Collier Street Jaguar Garage many years ago when the then owner could not afford the works he had done when his business got into trouble. The old boy brought it from that garage in November 2014 so only know about its last 10 years. 12 months MOT at point of this advert as well as a new battery. Will go to Jaguar garage for a service before sale.
