The car is a prized possession and is in immaculate internal and external condition, having been stored under a weatherproof cover during all winter and bad weather periods. Because the car is not used every week, the batteries are maintained by a trickle-charger. The car has been used as a second car mostly for road trips around England, France, Italy, and Spain and is not used for short-distance shopping. The annual mileage has been less than 2,000. The car is currently awaiting a routine service which is scheduled with Mercedes Gatwick. The exterior paintwork is metallic graphite and the interior is beige and expresso brown with a beige roof-lining. The seats are beige leather, with memory positioning, reclining and posture control. The engine is a 3.5 litre, petrol-fuelled and naturally aspirated vee-6 with a seven-speed gearbox which can be used as an automatic or as a manual using the steering wheel mounted paddle switches. The car is a joy to drive and the fuel consumption is remarkably light. There is a tyre-pressure loss warning system to advise of punctures. Added optional extra features are: reversing camera with guidance lines, active park assist (auto-parking), electric operated wind deflector when the roof is down, wiring for telephone, airscarf on the seats with neck-level heating, DAB digital radio, black-ash wood trim, 75 litre fuel tank, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The purchase price in 2013 was sixty two thousand, five hundred and fifty UK pounds. The car has not been in any accidents or suffered any body damage. There are no scratches and the only stone chip is a tiny mark on the bonnet which is hard to spot. There is a very slight scuff mark about 5 cm long on the rear near-side wheel rim. I have owned the car for 10 years and am its second owner and the only driver during my ownership. The only reason I am selling the car is that I am getting old and have recently spent time in hospital.
