Original Mk. 2 Jaguar 3.8L with Manual / Overdrive. In excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, MoT valid until Feb 18, 2026 The vehicle is fully original as it came out of the factory in 1962. It was stored between 1979 and 2015 thus the low mileage. The project to return it to the road from storage involved the following: Mechanical - Engine totally stripped down and rebuilt - New piston rings, crank bearings, gaskets and seals. - The cylinder head was overhauled. - New clutch fitted. - New tyres. - New stainless steel exhaust. - New brake pipes and pads. - All oils changed. Body Work - Full respray. - Jacking points and sills made good. The mechanical work was undertaken by myself, a Jaguar trained mechanic since 1962 and previous garage owner. I purchased the vehicle from the previous owner following the above restoration, six years ago. The vehicle has covered approximately 2,000 miles since the above restoration work, and has been used on sunny days and occasionally for friends' weddings. It has been treated with Waxoyl annually. The Jaguar drives beautifully, and feels firm and tight as you would expect with its 42K mileage.
