Very reliable 2012 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Executive BlueEFFICIENCY 7G-TRONIC automatic turbo diesel. The car has been in our family since 2018. It was mainly used for long motorway runs between Portsmouth and Manchester. A new genuine Mercedes-Benz start/stop battery was fitted last month, together with a genuine Mercedes-Benz auxiliary battery. Front headlights and sidelights were upgraded to premium LED bulbs, which are much brighter than halogen bulbs. Professionally tinted glass was applied a couple of years ago. Front side windows and windscreen: 75% red chameleon tint; front headlights: 50% black tint; rear windows: 5% limo tint; rear lights: 50% black tint. This vehicle is equipped with a tow bar. The transmission and engine were serviced only 500 miles ago. All x4 wheel alignment has been done only 1 week ago. Historically, the 7-speed automatic transmission was serviced every 40,000 miles, and the engine was serviced every 8,000 miles with premium 5W-30 Liqui Moly engine oil. In general, the car has no faults. The car is no longer needed as we bought a hybrid car and now constantly do only city miles, so the diesel car is not the best choice anymore.
