Description

This car comes freshly serviced, MoT'd, sitting on perelli P-Zeros fitted last year - and will have a full tank of Shell Optimax upon sale All ready for a summer of top down motoring. This is my 2004 SLK 350 V6 There are many like it, but this one is mine. This is 'Flo', as in 'Florence' (and the Machine), because she is one heck of a machine, in the very best of ways. I won't go into the details of why she is so good. If you are reading this, you already know about the combination of power from the three-and-a-half-litre engine, exceptional road holding and the comfort (and low wind noise) of the metal folding roof. Why is Flo the one to look at more closely? She has the far less common lighter interior. This includes the headlining, making the interior (roof-up, obviously) feel roomier than normal. She also wears the AMG wheels, each shod in Pirelli P-Zeros - 245/35 rear and 225/40 fronts, fitted last year. This beauty comes with the essential: - Air scarf - Rear wind deflector - Heated memory electric seats - Front & Rear parking assist - Air Con, re-gassed in 2024 - Cruise control Other top-end accessories as well as the important smaller things, like the compressor for the space saver tyre, tool kit, warning triangle locking wheel-nut key. etc. The service book holds 16 stamps. The MoT is valid to 20 April 2026 and is, just like the last, advisory-free. During my ownership, she has been serviced by Derrick Wells, Mercedes-Benz Specialist, at 81,163 and 83,848 miles. She comes with a folder full of paperwork. As you'll see from the invoices, no expense has been spared in her upkeep. The only reason for sale is lack of use, due to an overseas work commitment - as demonstrated by the paltry 2,698 mileage added between MoTs. So little mileage has been done in the last nine months that a new battery has been fitted, with a trickle charger - charger included. Both myself, and the previous owner, garaged the car when not in use. Please do come and view this fabulous bit of German Engineering, any time after Tuesday 27 May, just outside Bury St Edmunds. IP31 postcode area. AA/RAC inspections are welcome. More details available through eMail, or a call after the 26th Better photos to follow as soon as I get home and have a chance to give her a proper clean n polish.
