Selling my much loved 2008 BMW X5 sd (35d) Auto 5 seater. Bulletproof M57 engine. My second X5 with the same engine as I avoid the N-series because of their known reliability issues. 175k-ish miles. Car drives great, loads of power and comfort. 286bhp so it's quick for its size. Have recent receipts for work I've done and some from just before my ownership, and 1 key. 2008 model puts it in the lower tax bracket. Selling as I've bought something smaller. Over the last year of my ownership I've carried out most of the mods you can see, this includes: 22" Hawke Alloys powder coated last year Front and rear spacers New wheel bolts to match Rear slightly lowered electronically to give a better stance New Front pads, discs and calipers New Front disc splash plates Brake fluid flush New Battery New rear suspension airbags New suspension pump Front lip/spoiler Yellow angel eyes Blacked out trim, indicators, grill, badges, bolts Android head unit with reverse camera Carbon wrapped trim Steering wheel trim New mats New rubber boot mat Replaced plastic water shielding in engine bay (common fault causes injector issues if not sorted) New windscreen fitted recently in March Facelift rear lights fitted before my ownership. Have some wide exhaust tips I never got round to fitting, new owner can take them. Car has some mods to improve performance, economy and reliability: EGR, EGR Cooler, CAT and DPF sorted Most vacuum lines replaced Car has been a pleasure to own, fast, comfortable and gets a lot of attention. Took it on the North Coast 500 trip last year and it performed great. Bad bits: Rear bumper has a bit of damage in the centre (see pics) and front bumper has a scuff offside but I have the primer, paint and lacquer which I'll give with the car. There is a whine sometimes from around 30-40mph, diagnosed as nearside front driveshaft Common fault: Handbrake doesn't work (never bothered me as it doesn't move in Park), Auto-hold works fine It's a 17 year old car so you should expect some imperfections.
