For sale is my beloved BMW E46 330d Manual Touring. I have enjoyed every mile of motoring with this car. It has taken me back and fourth from work for over three years with little work needed and more recently an 800 mile round trip to Edinburgh just before Christmas with no issues (apart from sliced sidewall on a B road) I truly believe these cars were the pinnacle of BMW's output. The car itself is in overall good condition considering the age and milage. With 149k on the clock it is relatively low milage compared to some of the offerings out there. The car has been well looked after by myself, replacing parts when needed and giving it the annual service for the 3 years I have owned it. Prior to my ownership it belonged to a friend who also loved the car as much as I do and begrudgingly sold the car to me as the ULEZ zone expanding meant he could no longer leave his house without reaching deep into his wallet. Before him the car was owned by a family friend of his, so the car has never been 'moved on'. In my ownership I have completed the following work: 4x Sachs shock absorbers 2x front callipers + pads 2x new rear tyres June 2024 1x new front tyre December 2024 (Blame the Scottish B roads) Fuel level sender Yearly services (including air and fuel filter when required) Propshaft giubo and centre bearing Starter motor Alternator The car is completely standard apart from the following: BMW E90 MV3 staggered wheels EGR delete (prior to my ownership) AUX In cable fitted The bad bits: Dent in rear tailgate (still can't forgive myself for this, I swear the tree came out from no where) Slight rust bubbling at the front edge of both the rear arches Few various other bodywork marks (see pictures) Lumpy idle for the first few seconds on a cold morning AC compressor makes a very small whine (still blows cold) Drivers seat has usual bolster wear Both front window regulators are slow on the way up (what more do you expect from an E46) I have been as honest and as in depth as I can with this advert.
