This is a comfortable, fast family car. Really nice to drive compared to modern SUV's, and with a good automatic gearbox. Timing chain, tensioner and guides all done at 99k miles. Mechanically very sound, but the cheaper price is because this car needs a new alternator (or maybe just the voltage regulator). It starts and runs fine (you can probably drive for an hour or so with the headlights off) but the battery doesn't charge properly. It also has a small oil leak that has never caused me any issues, and maybe a steering tie rod that should be replaced. Exterior is very smart, except for a crack in the rear bumper caused by a rogue shopping trolley. Interior fabric is a bit worse for wear, needs a good valet. Service due notification is on due to miles since last service, but I've done oil changes myself every 6 months.
