After over 16 years of family ownership, it's time to part ways with our trusted car. It's been a reliable vehicle and has served us well, but it's been off the road for almost a year now, untaxed and without an MOT. It's currently parked on our driveway. The battery is flat due to lack of use but can be jump-started - I've recently done so to move it on the drive. It will likely need a new battery. The car starts and runs, and the electrics appear to be functioning when the engine is running. The engine runs well and the gears work as they should, except for 1st gear, which occasionally requires a bit of extra pressure to engage. I've been told this is a relatively inexpensive fix, but we haven't pursued it since the car is no longer in use. The car isn't immaculate, as you'd expect for its age, but after a recent wash, it's in surprisingly good shape. No visible rust spots or paint bubbling. The roof condition is fair - it would benefit from a treatment. Some cosmetic scuffs and small dings around the body, mostly around the rear driver's side - barely noticeable from a distance. The car currently has no MOT, so it will need to be towed away by the buyer. Driveable following a jumpstart (though not legally roadworthy without MOT/tax). This is an ideal car for someone looking for a project or a solid base vehicle with a lot of life left in it with a bit of TLC. Viewings welcome. Serious enquiries only please.
