Description
I've had to make the tough decision to sell my beloved ST150, which we've owned for over six years. It's been a fantastic car. Great fun to drive, sounds amazing, and handles brilliantly.
Tasteful modifications include:
-Full Milltek cat-back exhaust
-Milltek exhaust manifold
-Milltek sport cat
-PumaSpeed ITG induction kit
-Coilovers
-Maxton Design front splitter & rear diffuser
-Strut brace
-Rear wiper delete (motor & arm supplied)
-Double DIN Sony head unit
-Aftermarket steering wheel
-Alloy wheels + matching spare
Most of the performance mods were fitted by PumaSpeed (by previous owner). While I don't have paperwork for the work, all parts are clearly visible. The Pumaspeed upgrade kit alone costs over 2,300 and includes:
-A custom tune (180-200PS range)
-Pair of 200-spec camshafts
-Milltek Cosworth-spec 4-1 manifold
-Milltek non-resonated race exhaust
-ITG induction kit
Recent maintenance:
-Just passed MOT with no advisories (valid for nearly a full year)
-New alternator
-New handbrake cable
-Oil & filter change
-Recently completed a 150-mile round trip with zero issues
A solid, fun ST150 that's had the right mods in the right places.
Bad bits:
The car's nearly 20 years old and has 125k+ miles, so it's not mint. The bodywork is in good shape overall but does have age-related marks and stone chips. At 80mph+, there's some wind noise from the top of the windscreen (silent below 70mph). The airbag light occasionally comes on due to the aftermarket wheel it goes off again. Wheels could do with a refurb.
It's also a Cat D. We were told the original engine blew, the insurer wrote it off, and a previous owner bought it back and fitted a replacement engine meaning on the plus side the engine has considerably fewer miles than the chassis. I personally haven't found the cat D an issue with insurance in anyway it's just an annoying label.
If you need more info, photos or a video, just ask. Test drives at my discretion.
