Description
Not to be confused with any other ML 500 is this lovely AMG styling pack! This vehicle is truly a one off and I have yet to see another on the market. This Style upgrade consisting of AMG front and rear bumpers and grills , wheel arches and 5 spoke 20" Alloys AMG and side steps would have cost well over £10,000 when it was supplied and fitted in addition and on top of any car price. The ML 500 when new came only with Black Alcantara and leather seats but this vehicle was significantly upgraded after with a leather specialist fitting beautiful Red leather costing a rather large sum also.
The previous owner very sensibly decided to install a very well built LPG system (BRC BRAND)designed with a toroidal style ( in the spare wheel well) and a very subtle connection that is visible from the centre rear bumper. In my opinion this lovely example of the ML500 beats all the AMG 63 models as it is much more comfortable, and much cheaper too run ! That being said she is after all a 5.5 litre V8 and is thirty on RFL tax and fuel, but just nearly as quick as the big brother 63AMG while still having the looks of the AMG flagship model. This is Mercedes old school bombproof engineering at its finest.
This has been my very own vehicle over the past 6 months or so. It had recently come into our possession as a part exchange and required quite a lot of work which we have undertaken here at our very own dealerhsip. During my ownership I Have completed a FULL Service including fresh Mercedes Specified PETRONAS OIL (all 9 litres!) and Mercedes oil filter, air filter and pollen filter with 8 NGK spark plugs in its Major service.
We didn't stop there, we bought a genuine Mercedes Automatic transmission service pack including the gaskets, and fitted brand new BREMBO rear pads and discs as well as fitting the rear AIRMATIC airbags (both rear) as they had a leak. The Nearside front drive shaft was replaced and we even sent the vehicle to be serviced at Oxford Autogas for the LPG BRC system to be serviced with new filters.
It has also been to Andrew Gale mercedes specialists to have the power steering leak fixed which is apparently a common issue and on most MOT advisories I have noticed on most ML Mercedes. Finally some finishing touches to this vehicle is the new 2025 upgraded Sat nav with APPLE CAR PLAY and ANDROID Auto, and a fresh service of the R134 air conditioning system as well as freshly painting the four brake calipers in the only colour... BLACK!
The car is presented in the best colour combination, with its original service history booklet and 2 keys one being a perimeter key. There is over 4.5mm on all the tires as described in our inspections sheet and who ever is lucky enough to purchase I'm more than happy to put a new MOT on the vehicle for additional peace of mind. I tend to spend a lot of money on my own vehicles, and this lovely Mercedes here is the perfect example of how servicing an older car should be done with well over £3000 spent on servicing, upgrades and equipment. It is now ready for a new Home as I have eyes set on my next car.
