Hello, Thank you for looking at my ad. I am looking to sell my dad's old car, a Jaguar X-Type 2.5 AWD sport petrol version. He is a 2003/ 53 reg edition and has a an automatic transmission. He is ULEZ compliant. He has owned the vehicle for about 10 years. He has done a low mileage of 97k. When we purchased him he had done about 63k. He is finished in silver with cream leather and walnut effect dash. X Types are lovely cars and I understood after we purchased him why the Queen liked them. Now to give you the full story, I have not really used the car in the last few years. He has been kept off road in our garage and now on our driveway. We have started him and driven round the block regularly to make sure that no issues set in however he has not really been used much and has been kept on SORN. My Dad became a bit nervous about driving a few years back and we noticed that he just wasn't using the car so much and so it made sense to take it off road. He runs and drives fine and any prospective purchaser is welcome to test it. There will be some work required for an MOT from what I can see, the things I have picked up on are: 1. Two new rear tyres are required; 2. Fuel level sensor needs replacing (doesn't affect the performance); 3. Ideally a new battery ( although a new battery was purchased when he was parked up); 4. Rear driver's side tail light is cracked and damaged. I have the service history and a lot of paperwork to go with it along with the V5. Any scratches, etc I have tried to capture on the pictures. We have seen these cars listed for a lot more with little work to do to get it to that stage, however we just really want the space now and so would be happy to let him go to a good home.
