Welcome to the sale of a very special car. A 2002 Mazda Phoenix Mx-5 MK2.5. with the 1.6 engine Passed by probate to my mother, through DVLA, Passed by sale DVLA down to me, there son. At present the official number on the logbook sates 2 keepers. This car has been family owned since new, my father being meticulous made sure she got all that was required to keep her in the condition she is in today. She only done a very low 14,500 miles After the Mazda warranty years, it got passed too Pete (my parents next door neighbour). basically, as a Family favour. Pete worked for Gray Paul Ferrari Loughborough and reach the position of head mechanic/workshop foreman. They left Loughborough for Nottingham. After that set up his own business to fill a void. Yearly he would drive it to the mot anything that he felt wasn't right, got put right. The maintenance of this car is amazing. Age related - Break/steering/coolant fluid changes, cam, auxiliary belts, aging rubbers replaced, new tires due to cracking, rust treatments, over the top servicing. the list goes on, amounting to thousands of pounds in its lifetime. All backed up with documentation Due to its storage/care. The paintwork still has its workshop shine, the engine you could eat your dinner off it and the underside is totally solid and very clean. Amazingly a lot of the manufactures labels and tags are still on the underside and around the car. She's all original, no mods. She Still has it factory fitted exhaust. She absolutely beautiful, drives like new This is a serious mx5 collectors' car, my workshop is clean dry and heated so the car will be in the same condition it's in now, as it will be in 12 months' time if she doesnt sell close to the figure i am after,Am testing the ground here. The mileage will not increase dramatically, but she will need a good run as she been stored unused over the autumn /winter time when taxed .
