For Sale: 2005 Volkswagen Polo 1.4L - Silver - 90,149 Miles - Well-Maintained This 2005 VW Polo 1.4L is a solid, reliable car that's been exceptionally well looked after and is ready for its next chapter. With just over 90,000 miles on the clock and a full service history (as of our ownership), it's a great option for someone looking for a dependable daily runner or first-time car. We've owned this vehicle for over 15 years, and it's been maintained with care and attention throughout. It's only had three owners in total, including myself, and during our long-term ownership we've ensured that it's been kept in excellent mechanical condition addressing any required work promptly. Recent work includes a brand new radiator installed last month, as well as a new exhaust system fitted within the past year. The car starts up reliably, drives smoothly. It should be noted the rear windscreen wiper does not project fluid and was not economical to repair. Furthermore, the air con has been out of function and will need a minimum of re-gassing, this has been neglected as I only performed the car for short journeys. Inside, the cabin is clean, tidy, and in very good condition for its age. The seats are comfortable and show no signs of excessive wear or damage. All controls and buttons are fully operational. However, as mentioned air con needs to be re-gaased. On the outside, the car presents well. As expected for a vehicle of this age, there are some light marks and minor scratches on the front and rear bumper corners, and slight sun fading in places - typical of a 20-year-old car, but nothing that detracts from its overall appearance or function. It's sitting on part-worn tyres, but no problems to note. It comes with a valid MOT until August 2025, and the service record since ownership. The only reason for sale is due to a work relocation otherwise, we'd be keeping it. It's served us very well over the years and still has plenty of life left in it.
