Description
2016 Dacia Logan MCV 0.9 TCe Laureate (90ps)
Just shy of 104k miles, won't rise.
New clutch + slave cylinder 01/12/24 @100k.
Mechanically and structurally sound, runs and drives well, but cosmetically not great outside or in, priced accordingly.
Good bits:
- comes with all tools, spare wheel, and rubber boot liner;
- 1300 in garage receipts for work I couldn't do myself;
- higher 'Laureate' spec with speed limiter + cruise control, Bluetooth, electric windows, alloys, etc.;
- excellent on fuel - can easily get 60 mpg on motorways, 70+ if you really try;
- 90hp variant so has a bit of go when you put your foot down as well;
- huge boot for the size of it, especially with the seats down;
- new (matching) front tyres last year;
- and I can throw in some spare brake pads it hasn't needed yet.
Bad bits:
- visual issues - scratches here and there, cracked rear bumper, weird marks in the paint and light damage to the stereo buttons from before my time with it;
- minimal service history (only up to 26k, serviced it myself from 84k every August (approx 8k miles) but have lost the parts receipts: oil and filters '22 '23 and '24, spark plugs '23);
- 2 MOT advisories for a brake disc and rear tyre, both still acceptable and will be cheap + easy when you want to change them;
- and could stand a proper clean (home to a couple of spiders also).
Only let me down once when the clutch slave cylinder went and that was as I was setting off from home as well.
Would make (and has been) an excellent first paddle wagon and camping car, could also be good for deliveries or anything else where you need great fuel economy. Only selling as I'm no longer a student and have bought myself something a bit more refined.
