For sale is my beautiful 2007 Land Rover defender 110 xs 2.4 puma in Santorini black with 7 seats. Unfortunately I just don't use it as much as I should so hence the sale. It has quit few upgrades which include - -Reverse camera -Lighter clutch spring -Double din dash conversion to allow for a Atoto S8 stereo with car play, DAB -Wheel spacers -Ally grab handles -Full ultragauge OBD dash installation (live data, code reader) -Full Pioneer sound system including subwoofer -Center cubby leather raiser -Fin air intakes -Momo steering wheel -Gloss black wing mirrors -Front steel bumper -Genuine LR rubber mats More I can't remember! Shortly after purchase it started to overheat so I ended up replacing the VCV valve, thermostat, cylinder head stat, water pump, belt and radiator but the problem still persisted and it turned out to be the dreaded head gasket. After taking it to a LR specialist I was told the head was gone and the bores were scored. I sourced a local defender owner who was doing a V8 conversion and they had a perfectly good engine that was surplus with 1/2 the miles, so decided to go with that option. The parts from the old engine were fitted on the donor engine so a lot of the parts on the new engine were new! Since the engine work it has also had the injector and rocker seals replaced due to leaking and a new battery with pilot/injector coding all done. In my time the truck has always been very well looked after with full services every year. One service included a gearbox oil and front and rear axle oil change. Fantastic condition for its age! There is no obvious rusting or corrosion. The interior is also in great condition with no rips or tears in the seats. The defender had done 117K miles when I purchased and it currently sits at 123K miles. The engine that replaced it had covered 67k miles (verified) and this was done at 121k miles. So basically the dash shows 123k miles but technically it has an engine that has only done 69k miles. Unfortunately the defender is a cat s vehicle. However it was checked by my mechanic and there was no way to tell it had been repaired. It has 2 keys, service books and MOT till September 2025. If I receive full asking I would also be willing to include all the parts i got from the guy i purchased the donor engine from! This includes a full gearbox, radiators, full exhaust the ECU, injectors, turbo etc! I also have the original defender engine! 21500 ono Thanks
