Description
Rare Ferrari Mondial cabriolet 3.2 litre Quatrovalve. Current owner for 21 years, full service history, MOT AND ROAD TAX exempt in 2 years as a classic car, lovingly maintained by Ferrari specialists. Completely original with all matching numbers, a dry car not used in wet weather, just been "detailed" by specialists (see photos), new tyres costing eighteen hundred pounds, complete engine rebuild and major cam belt service less than 500 miles ago. Over nine thousand pounds spent on the car in the last. Year and now in perfect condition ready to drive away. Mileage is genuine and very low but the car is regularly used and is frequently shown at super car events. Comes with a full Ferrari original tool set, sales brochure from 1987, an 8 track stereo factory fitted from new (the radio speakers are disconnected as it just spoils the sound of the engine), a wiring manual and the valuable private registration plate is available subject to a negotiated price.
Please note, there is a small paint chip on the passenger door, the neoprene strip between the windows is perished but I can't find a replacement, and the drivers seat is worn from use at the front right corner - not bad for a 38 year old original unrestored car. The car now drives superbly, as well as turning heads wherever she goes, and having the benefit of 4 seats (rear leg room is very limited though). An appreciating classic and an entry level Ferrari being one of the cheapest of the marque to maintain. Reason for sale - I'm 71 years old and don't drive it as often as it deserves so after 21 years ownership it's time for someone else to enjoy this fantastic car. Serious buyers only - no tyre kickers or would be joy riders and I'm sorry but if I don't think you will look after and cherish this car I will refuse to sell it to you. The price is fixed, no silly bids, as you will see similar cars listed by dealers at double this price.
