Here we have this Ford C-Max that we have just taken in part exchange against a Kia Ceed as the customer was upgrading to a newer car. We have given the Ford a short test drive and it seemed to drive fine. It started first turn of the key, the 108 BHP diesel engine sounded ok and it pulled through all 5 gears well with no clunks or crunches from the gearbox or clutch. The car handled the roads fine too with no apparent knocks from the suspension when going over bumps. The overall condition is pretty good for it's age, bearing in mind it's 17 years old and covered almost 140k miles, it's quite tidy - the bodywork is relatively straight (few marks in places but is more than presentable!) and the black/blue cloth interior looks good too showing minimal signs of wear. All electrics seemed to work as they should when tested including the parking sensors, radio, windows and air con. Partial service history is supplied with six stamps up to 98k miles which is when the cambelt was changed and there is some invoices for recent work which includes an alternator, rear discs/pads and x4 new tyres in the last couple of months. The car is HPi clear, comes with a long Mot and is ready to do someone a turn.
