Description

I imported this rare Alphard Welcab Sloper for my Mum who sadly passed away in January 2025 while the vehicle was still in transit from Japan. I have a copy of the original auction sheet with the certified mileage and presale inspection notes. JapAuto Agent helped me source the vehicle and it was graded 4B by the auction house but now I realise it's better than that and probably a 4.5B. The one previous Japanese owner really cared for this vehicle and it shows. The full dealership service history is in a neat service book listing everything that has ever been done to the car. The interior and exterior are in excellent condition and pretty close to pristine. This is not a modified or retro fitted vehicle but a purpose built WAV manufactured by Toyota for 1 or 2 wheelchairs designed with meticulous attention to detail. As the ramp unfolds the suspension lowers to reduce the incline or slope. With one wheelchair there are four passenger seats plus driver. With two wheelchairs, two passenger seats plus driver. The powerful winch system loads the wheelchair safely with a handheld remote easily operated by one person. The wheelchairs are secured by powered floor couplings. The rear door has two flood lights so boarding can be done safely at night. This vehicle will cater for wheelchairs up to 66 cm in width. The wheelchair user gets the full experience of Japans favourite luxury MPV and can sit alongside family and friends. The astoundingly smooth ride comes from the six speed automatic gearbox, wishbone suspension and the powerful 3.5 litre V6 engine. The quality and luxury is as good as any Lexus and in my opinion better than any WAV on the market. Sorry but none of the other WAV brands come close. The vehicle was taxed and registered on 01/04/2025 and serviced on 11/04/25 with a full diagnostic inspection by Dyernostics the Alphard specialist. Jason Dyer the owner said it is the "cleanest 12 year old Alphard" he has ever seen. The underneath is pristine and rust free and the engine block looks "brand new" he said. Faults as per the Tokyo auction sheet; a faint scuff on the lower front trim. A faint 1cm surface mark on the left side power door. an almost invisible small panel warp on the lower left power door, not really visible in a photo. The latch on the centre console is faulty. That is it. Warranty Wise and Click4 Warranty have offered to cover the vehicle. The only thing you will have to do is get a set of tyres before the next MOT in April 2026
