Lots more torque to make her a comfortable motorway cruiser at 60mph. The combo of 1776cc and twin ICT carbs gives much more power for the same fuel consumption as a stock 1600cc engine. Electronic ignition, new oil-breather, oil temp and pressure gauges, ethanol-safe fuel lines, fuel pressure regulator etc. She's super reliable. - New exhaust system - stainless steel Heritage Sport exhaust - New Bilstein shock absorbers - massively improved ride, now deals with roundabouts like a car, not a boat. New tyres about 2k miles ago. - Fully-loaded family camper - Westfalia roof for two kids, full-width rock and roll bed, modern fridge, sink and water tank, gas heating and hobs, lots of storage, electric hook up, new leisure battery with split charger. - 3-point seatbelts front and rear - you can safely have two child seats in the rear, unlike most T2s. - Detachable towbar - we use it to bring bikes along with us. - LED lights - new LED side and brake lights - so others can actually see you at night. - Loads of 'quality of life' improvements, e.g. Butty Bits throttle, parabolic wing mirrors so there's no blindsports. Gas heating for when it gets chilly. Chocks, ramps etc for easy camping. - Drive-away and sun awning - Vango airbeam drive-away awning included. It can easily fit an extra couple of people.
