2006 Mercedes CLK Cabrio 200 (1.8) - automatic Just passed it's MOT ( 11 months remaining) Recent additions : New battery + new wipers Cosmetic issues: 1/ Roof cover hem has come unpinned in 2 small areas, around rear windscreen. Just needs re-attaching. Doesn't effect the roof mechanism, its cosmetic. 2/ Slight chip to plastic driver's side rear side light. Electrical Issues: 3/ Handbrake 'still on' alarm goes off sometimes ( even though handbrake is off). Its a know issue with Merc CLK's, The sensor of the handbrake release is connected to the foot break pedal & is known for being over sensitive. It can easily be switched off by pressing any button on the steering wheel, as your driving. 4/ The multi-stack CD player in the glove compartment doesn't work.But there is a CD player in the dashboard that plays fine and is controlled from the steering wheel. Run's smooth. Owned her 2yrs & no major issues.
