Lovely late, low-mileage unspoilt Jeep Wrangler - very rare factory AIRCON + upgrades. Just serviced. Stunning Dec 2002 late model has auto with rare 'Overdrive' top gear: at 60mph reduces 3000rpm to 2000 rpm - quieter and much better economy. Upgrades: Pioneer stereo with phone/USB, taller 16" Wrangler wheels ( original 15" look undersized in arches), upgraded suspension, superior hood by 'Rampage' ..quieter and stronger zips easier/safer. Over 2. 5k recently invested: Just serviced with new MoT and including fresh engine oil and filter, rocker cover gasket replaced, front brakes overhauled and brake fluid replaced, cooling system flushed and fresh longlife coolant added, rear suspension drop links replaced. S/hand Wrangler 16" wheels and tyres. Bonnet repainted (bird dropping stains), and wheel arch fenders repainted to remove scratches. In warm weather, TJ cabins can get very hot and the aircon completely transforms driving, making it so much more usable and versatile - and much more effective demisting if wet or carrying wet gear inside (eg hiking or similar). Many Wranglers led hard lives and cosmetically quickly show signs of wear and succumb to rust - particularly front wings/sill/underside. This one's done only 3k pa average and having been in a salt-free environment , is in very good condition indeed, with no obvious signs of corrosion, and only a few minor age-related marks. The interior is almost unmarked showing it's been well cared for over 23 years. Similarly, the chassis is very clean with and virtually corrosion free. The engine shows very healthy oil pressure, and pulls like the proverbial train. The upgraded suspension A Wrangler's suspension give a nice tight ride and controls the standard roll (and wallow if pressing on). The rear seat arrangement provides several options - - it folds and can tilt forward or easily lifts right out to give greater space when needed. In a Wrangler you are confronted with smiles - not envy! They make a great talking point and are completely classless Lastly, now these vehicles are recognised as bona fide classics, you can enjoy cheaper insurance and, most importantly, they have steadily appreciated over recent years, making very economic ownership without depreciation.
