A genuine and hard to find unmodified base spec car with low miles and low owners. Silver over metropole blue interior. Other than an essential 3 spoke steering wheel, this is a no extra options car, which to many is the purist 996 experience and difficult to find a non sunroof car still wearing its original factory 17 inch twists. This car is a 4 owner car. I bought the car earlier this year from the 3rd owner who owned it for around 15 years. When he was made redundant the car was left unused for 8 years. When I bought it I replaced the tyres with Michelin Pilot Sports and it passed its MOT first time. At the same time in March I spent a further 1500 on a service and a few other jobs to make sure it was usable, however have since not used it. The car has some parking marks and scratches which I've tried to show, but otherwise paint presents nicely as it's not had a lot of bad repaint like so many. This car is not mint, but is for someone that's been looking for a rare spec like this that wants to be able to enjoy the car as she sits and improve over time. The car will come with its original Y996 number plate as supplied by Lancaster of Colchester from new. Complete with all tools, stamped service book and 2 keys. Having owned and sold dozens of 911's I would like to avoid 996 desktop experts asking about IMS and RMS etc, and also avoid test pilots, and only show the car to someone who understands the car is a usable rare spec car that has room to improve. The car is parked away from my family home so requires me taking time away from my family for viewings, so can I politely ask only genuine buyers get in touch that are in a position to buy.
