This is a much loved, very comfortable, well-equipped, and powerful SUV. It has been reliable and still drives very well. There are some scuffs internally and a few stone chip type paintwork blemishes (see photos), along with some surface corrosion on one or two of the alloy wheels - all commensurate with age and mileage. The car has been owned by me since new, first registered on 5 December 2011. It was registered with the DVLA on 2 January 2013. It spent its first year with me on Diplomatic number plates, hence the delay in registering with DVLA once I ceased my Diplomatic role. It was delivered to me directly from the Volvo factory as a UK Diplomatic Purchase via the Volvo Diplomatic Sales dealership in London, with full UK specification. In terms of faults/issues - I have suffered normal wear and tear such as an ABS sensor failing; a broken suspension spring; faulty tailgate powerlift struts (replaced with normal gas struts now); and most recently, and the most major issue I have had, was the need to replace the air conditioner compressor (completed a week ago). Brake discs and pads have been replaced as necessary. It has been serviced annually as required, with a mix of Volvo dealer services and independent Volvo specialist garages. It is being serviced on 30 May 2025 as it's been a year since the last service. Service book stamped (see photos). It had its timing belt changed at the appropriate mileage (98,000 miles in March 2022). Tyres are reasonable (Bridgestone), with about 4mm of tread remaining. MOTs have always been straightforward, with no failures and a number of general advisories. Fuel consumption remains good, in fact it has seemed to improve as the car has aged/worn in! See the picture of the display showing trip statistics - a true 43.4 miles per gallon over the last 5,341 miles/97 hours of mixed driving. In my view, the car is worth more as a comfortable, well-equipped, powerful, large SUV than the price suggests. Lots of car for the money - an "honest" car. Ask any Volvo dealer or mechanic and I'm sure they'll all say it has plenty of miles left in her. The car is available for an accompanied test drive by potential buyers. Price is a little negotiable, but not by much as I suggest is very reasonably priced for such a specification, ideally a quick sale. Payment must be via bank transfer or Paypal. If paying by cash it must be in person with me at a bank to pay the cash into my account.
