Description

BBR Super 180 Mazda MX5 2.0i Sport, 2008 - With BBR Suspension Package Offered here is a tastefully modified Mk3 (NC1) MX5, the vehicle has covered almost 117,000 miles but has had plenty of time and attention spent to keep it feeling fresh. I have owned the car since October 2021 and purchased it privately from the previous owner in Brighton at around 85k miles. I have thoroughly enjoyed the ownership experience of my third MX5 and am regretfully selling due to the need for a bigger car and finances simply not allowing two. The car has been a small project during my ownership, I have had a number of modifications fitted (listed below) and while doing so replacing any perishables and wear items where appropriate, such as top mount rubbers, drop links etc. This work alongside regular annual servicing, maintenance & MOT's, I will list the items in full further down. Modifications include: BBR Super 180 conversion with catted manifold (link below). Fitted at BBR - 184bhp & 160 lb.ft on the BBR Dyno in September 2022 BBR NC Soft Top Suspension Package (link below) BBR 4-wheel alignment to their specification - checked in Aug 2024 SuperPro Polybushes (incl diff) - Bushes are the softer of the options from SuperPro Stainless braided brake lines - MX5 Parts Stainless braided clutch line - HEL Performance Cobalt rear silencer - Moss Europe Direnza air filter Drain hole upgrade to later specification parts to fix the common "whistle" at speed Wear items & other replacements: Clutch - full kit + fluid @ around 105,000mi Clutch master & slave cylinders Coolant reservoir & coolant NSR wheel bearing Gear oil Differential oil Front brake calipers Top mount rubbers ARB links Alignment bolts The major suspension overhaul was carried out in July 2022 & consumables like brakes and tyres have been changed when required. There are some marks, dings and dents on the bodywork but nothing most cars of this age wouldn't fall foul of. The front bumper is the worst offender after a blow over repair following a driveway knock with the previous owner, to be honest, something I simply never got round to putting right. However I don't believe it detracts too much from the excellent condition of the rest of the car. Questions and viewings welcomed, test drives with proof of insurance please and don't hesitate to get in contact. 6995, sensible offers considered, mileage may increase. Thank you for your time, Matt
